Innuos Launches New Stream Series at AXPONA 2025 with Stream1 and Stream3
Innuos marked a significant expansion of its product lineup at this year’s AXPONA 2025 with the official launch of its new Stream Series, unveiling two new high-fidelity music streamers and servers: the entry-level Stream1 and ambitious Stream3. The announcement, which was made concurrently at the Shanghai International Audio & Video Show and the Kaohsiung Hi-End Audio Show, introduced what the company described as a new chapter in digital audio for audiophiles and music enthusiasts alike.
The launch also included the beta release of Sense 3.3, the latest version of Innuos’s proprietary music management software, aiming to enhance functionality and connectivity across its product ecosystem.
A New Generation of Streamers
The new Stream Series replaces Innuos’s outgoing ZEN Mk3 line, which has now ceased production, though the company confirmed it will continue to support existing Mk3 customers.
The Stream1 is positioned as Innuos’s new compact entry-level model. Despite its smaller half-width chassis, it retains a full suite of features.
Designed to serve as both a music streamer and server, it includes built-in USB outputs and the option to add output modules for upgraded performance. A key feature is its upgrade path through the addition of the matching LPS1 external linear power supply, which the company claims significantly enhances audio quality.
The Stream3, on the other hand, targets more demanding listeners. It features a robust 10mm thick CNC-machined aluminum chassis for improved vibration control and shielding. The internal power design includes an ARC6-CX active-rectification LPSU and premium Mundorf capacitors—developed in collaboration with power supply expert Dr. Sean Jacobs. A standout option is the PhoenixDAC output module, described by Innuos as a high-end, dual-mono DAC offering both RCA and XLR outputs, designed with OCXO and FEMTO clocking for greater precision.
Both models use a modular architecture that allows users to tailor their systems with various output boards, including USB, SPDIF, and proprietary DAC solutions, which Innuos says supports future system expansion.
Sense 3.3 Beta Expands App Functionality
Alongside the hardware launch, Innuos introduced the beta version of Sense 3.3, an update to its Sense music management platform. New features include support for Spotify Connect, allowing streaming directly from the Spotify app, and Qobuz Connect integration for beta users of the Qobuz platform. The update also adds SmartQ, a new feature that continues playback when a user’s queue ends, and a Presets widget for quicker access to favorite content such as playlists, mixes, and internet radio stations.
CEO Amelia Santos described the Innuos Stream Series and Sense 3.3 as the result of “years of R&D,” highlighting the company’s “unwavering commitment to sound quality.”
