Chord Electronics has launched its latest offering, the Ultima Integrated stereo amplifier, which is now in full production at the Kent factory and available for purchase worldwide. The amplifier made its international debut at High End, Munich, in 2023.

Five years since the inception of Ultima, renowned as Chord Electronics’ most accomplished amplifier topology to date, the British manufacturer has integrated its flagship preamp and mono power amps technology into a full-width integrated amplifier for the first time. This move sets new performance standards for integrated designs.
Designed by Chord Electronics’ founder, owner, and chief engineer, John Franks, the Ultima Integrated delivers 125 watts of power. It incorporates the latest dual-feed-forward error-correction topology and boasts the company’s distinctive industrial aesthetic. Taking advantage of the latest advancements in advanced low-distortion power supplies, the amplifier offers exceptionally low noise and superior operation.
This British-designed, engineered, and manufactured amplifier features four inputs, including one fully balanced and three unbalanced inputs. Each input benefits from individual buffering and selective filtering to guard against potential interference from radio frequencies. Additional features include an AV bypass input and a balanced preamp output for connecting to supplementary power amplifiers.
