The Gold Note Diana I and Diana II bookshelf loudspeakers combine an innovative design with carefully selected materials to deliver exceptional sound quality. For an even more immersive experience, these bookshelf speakers can be paired with the Diana III-F, described by the manufacturer as the first modular extender designed to transform the Diana I and Diana II into true floorstanding loudspeakers. Diana I: Compact and Powerful Design
Designed for those seeking a balance between elegance and performance, the Diana I is a two-way speaker that stands out for its compact form factor and impressive sound reproduction. Engineered with meticulous attention to detail, it features a 1-inch silk dome tweeter and a 6.5-inch fiberglass mid-woofer, ensuring precise and immersive sound.
A mechanical dome phaser positioned in front of the tweeter extends high-frequency clarity, while a rear bass-reflex system enhances low-frequency depth, even when positioned close to a rear wall. With a sensitivity of 88 dB, the Diana I delivers strong performance even with low-power amplifiers (10W).
To enhance cabinet rigidity and minimize unwanted vibrations, the Diana I incorporates two semi-elliptical mechanical resonators along the mid-woofer’s axis. According to the manufacturer, this innovation contributes to improved sound definition and a more immersive listening experience.
Unlike traditional loudspeakers, the Diana I is encased in a fully sound-transparent Italian fabric, inspired by racing car seats and produced from recycled fibers. This tear-resistant, stain-resistant material is paired with damping foam to reduce unwanted vibrations and enhance performance.
