The Tidal Arkas is the perfect digital music content controller for Tidal high-end systems. The approach of the Arkas was simple: Build the perfect musical data file transport with Tidal performance as well as reliability. In general, the Tidal Arkas concept are comparable to the build of a super sports car: as little weight as possible, by removing all but what is absolutely necessary, combined with the most power possible – to get the best performance and keep up with the pace.
We decided not to build a file-storage system inside, but rather only the core relevant technology around an extremely potent power supply. All components like music data storage, NAS/music server systems and hard drives, are intended to be outside the Tidal Arkas. Every Arkas comes with the proprietary data connection output – a unique file transport output to the Tidal Camira (2021). This unique cable connection overcomes disadvantages of SPDIF RCA, AES, or USB in sound quality and additionally removes the inability of playing certain files with certain connections. We call it Tidal-Link!
The Tidal Arkas will remain the center of content management as an elite streamer for many years since its not going to change as quickly as digital technology. Our timeless Tidal electronics cabinet as well as the power supply inside the Arkas are future ready. Peripheral components to run PCB boards, as well as the streaming PCB itself, are designed to be upgraded and adjusted – protecting your investment and guaranteeing the very best sound for your Tidal systems.
